Recent Stuff |
| A selection of some of my more recent tracks, all done on various PC's with various tracker software. This stuff is more along the lines of what I'm currently working on. |
| Shaving Day |
Music from my YouTube video, in which I shave! Oh, the shaving! Such shaving the likes of which you never dreamed possible!
Check out the video HERE |
| Personal Demons |
We are always trying to escape our personal demons. But they seem to have a nasty habit of catching up to us... |
| Regrets |
Everyone has regrets, things they wish they could go back and change. But if we were to change those things, how would it affect who we are today? |
| Spy Chase |
An energetic, fun piece - something of an homage to one of the true pioneers of electronic music, Jean-Michel Jarre. |
| Video Blog Theme (Unused Version) |
This is the first theme I composed for my Video Blog. Although I like the piece, I found it was a bit too slow-moving and dark for what I wanted the Video Blog to be (not to mention the running time was way too long for a theme tune). So, this one was shelved and the more upbeat second version was used instead. |
| Video Blog Theme (Full Length Version) |
This is the second theme I composed for my Video Blog, the one that was actually used. |
| Buddies (Opening Theme) |
This is the opening theme I composed for 'Buddies,' a short comedy video I made with my brother for a 6-hour video competition. We had to do the entire video, from concept to finished product, in 6 hours. I somehow found time to compose some music for it during that 6 hours as well. A simple, but fun little piece. |
Last of the Amiga Stuff |
| A selection of the last songs I made using my trusty Amiga 2000HD and various tracker programs. After these, it was time to move on to the bigger world of CD-quality 128-channel tracking on the PC. I resisted as long as I could until I came to the solemn realization that Amiga was NOT going to take over the world after all... I give credit where credit is due, however, and owe a LOT to the Amiga for getting me into using computers for composition. I learned the ropes on that old machine, and it is thanks to the skills I learned using it that I am able to do what I do now. R.I.P. Amiga, you served me well! |
| Jason Update 1 Theme |
The last full song I ever did on the Amiga. This was composed in 2002 as the opening theme for a Video Letter. |
| Antares |
In 1999, I was approached to do the music for an Amiga game demo. It was to be a grand, sweeping science fiction epic adventure. The demo would have no sound effects, only music. But alas, shortly after I finished the composition, the makers of the demo dropped of the face of the earth, never to be heard from again. So I present to you for the first time anywhere, the music I composed for what I'm sure would have been an amazing game demo. |
| Jason 29 |
Dark, brooding opening theme song for a video letter to a distant friend. |
| Mellow Depression |
Strings and subtle bass encapsulate the plodding feelings we get when unbearably depressed. |
| Background 1 |
Despite the uninteresting title, a fun little piece meant to sound like those background techno tracks radio DJ's often use when giving concert announcements and the like. |
| Speed Dance |
Another fun piece, this time a fast paced dance track with lots of interesting bits thrown in throughout. |
